Overview of DSC Registration

DSC Registration: DSC stands for Digital Signature Certificate.
It is an electronic format which contains individual or company signature in encoding format.
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) contains information about the Applicant name (Individual or Organization name), encryption key, certificate validity period and name of the certifying authority.
A DSC was managed and controlled by Controller of Certifying Authority(CA) under Section 24 of the Indian IT-Act 2000.
The validity of Certificate was 2 years or 3 years.
There are 2 types of digital signatures are available, class 2 type and class 3 type digital signature. Also we provide APEDA Registration.
Now days we can use only class 3 type digital signature, class 2 type digital signature was stopped from January 1, 2021 in India.

DSC token was pen drive type; it will be used for store the individual or company digital certificate

Type of DSC Certificates

Sign

Sign DSC can be used for signing documents. It can be mainly used in signing the PDF file for Tax Returns, MCA, IEC, GST and other websites.

Encrypt

Encrypt DSC can be used to encrypt a document; it is popularly used in the govt e-tender portal, to help companies encrypt the documents and upload it.

Sign & Encrypt

Sign & Encrypt DSC can be used for both signing and encrypting. It is used for users who need to authenticate and maintain the confidentiality of the information shared.
